Role Overview
As a Pricefx Configuration & Integration Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain server-side components, APIs, databases, and microservices powering enterprise pricing applications. Working in cloud (GCP) or on-premises environments, you will bridge customer pricing logic with technical delivery—ensuring high reliability, security, and integration performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Engagement & Problem Solving: Collaborate directly with customers, Product Owners, and Architects to translate complex pricing requirements into robust backend solutions.
- Backend & API Development: Design, build, test, and maintain back-end applications, APIs, and microservices adhering to architectural guidelines.
- Database & Data Management: Architect and manage data storage and retrieval systems using SQL and relational database technologies.
- Integration & Workflows: Connect Pricefx modules with external enterprise platforms using integration tools and frameworks (Apache Camel, Groovy, Java).
- Cloud & Operations Support: Support application deployments, health monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and security hardening (data encryption and anonymization).
- Engineering Best Practices: Promote Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated test plan execution.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Lead root-cause problem analysis, resolve complex technical issues, and optimize infrastructure resilience.
Candidate Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / B.Tech).
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Pricefx Configuration/Integration Engineer.
Certifications
- Pricefx Certified Configuration Engineer (CE): Mandatory
- Pricefx Integration Engineer (IE): Preferred
