Sales Operations Technologist Manager

Role Overview

As a Sales Operations Technologist Manager within Deloitte’s Customer practice, you will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable Sales Operations and commercial technology solutions. This role bridges deep domain expertise in commercial operations with modern enterprise platforms, data integration, and practical Agentic AI.

Focusing heavily on Life Sciences (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare), you will drive end-to-end client engagements—helping organizations streamline commercial effectiveness, optimize territory planning, accelerate quote-to-cash, and integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into daily sales workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Solution Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into enterprise architecture roadmaps integrating CRM, CPQ, ERP, data, analytics, and workflow platforms.
  • Agentic AI Integration: Design and deploy production AI agents, next-best-action engines, sales forecasting assistants, and automated CRM hygiene tools while establishing strict human-in-the-loop, access, and governance controls.
  • Life Sciences Specialization: Align platform designs with industry-specific needs, including HCP/HCO master data, field force alignments, customer consent, promotional compliance, and regulatory governance.
  • Engagement & Delivery Leadership: Oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams, manage project financials, scope, quality, and risks, and maintain executive-level client relationships.
  • Practice Building & Pre-Sales: Lead proposal pursuits, solution demonstrations, statements of work (SOW), and contribute reusable accelerators, IP, and market points of view (POVs).
  • Team Coaching & Mentorship: Guide and grow consultants and senior consultants through structured feedback and hands-on technical and domain leadership.

Candidate Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Overall Experience: 8+ years in consulting or industry roles leading Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, CRM, CPQ, business transformation, or enterprise technology implementations.
